Tugboats
The port has no tugboats of its own, tugboats are hired on request from Luleå Bogserbåts AB. Ships that require tugboat assistance on arrival and departure because of their size may order tugboat(s) via the shipping company’s registered shipping agent, or directly from Luleå Hamn AB (the Luleå port company). Expenses are paid by the ship/shipping company.
